Matt Knable

Intro: Matthew (Matt) Knable joined Wettermark Keith in 2023 as a non-litigation transactional attorney, bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise. Matt's primary focus at the firm involves reviewing and preparing files, communicating with clients, liaising with insurance companies, and performing all necessary legwork before a case advances to the litigation stage. Matt’s attention to detail and dedication to his clients make him an invaluable addition to our team.

Background: Born and raised in Indiana, Matt's thirst for adventure brought him overseas to England for six years, where he lived just outside of London. He returned to Indiana to earn a bachelor’s degree at Purdue University before moving to Tennessee to attend law school. Matt graduated in 2014 with his Juris Doctor from Lincoln Memorial University. During his time in Tennessee, he fell in love with the area and decided to make it his home. Before joining Wettermark Keith, Matt ran his own Tennessee practice, gaining years of experience representing clients in a variety of practice areas, including family law, criminal defense, general litigation matters, and real estate law.

Matt’s “Why”: Matt has always been fascinated by the law and its role in governing society, as well as its use for resolving conflicts without resorting to violence. Matt’s passion for justice and his commitment to helping those in need make him a strong advocate for his clients, as he ensures their rights and interests are well-represented.

Just For Fun:When he's not hard at work, Matt enjoys spending his free time outside and on the go. He spends his days off hiking in the great outdoors or cultivating the variety of plants and herbs in his garden. Matt’s friends and family agree that his cooking skills are top-tier, and his gardening skills keep him in fresh supply of ingredients for his recipes. In quiet moments, you might find Matt practicing his yoga.
