Leia Leonard
Personal Injury Attorney
Intro: Leia Leonard joined Wettermark Keith’s Birmingham office in 2023, bringing over 15 years of personal injury experience to the firm. It's not just expertise in the courtroom but genuine empathy that makes Leia an outstanding legal advocate.
Background: A proud Alabama native, Leia graduated from St. Clair County High School in 2004 before pursuing her undergraduate studies at the University of Montevallo. There, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, setting the foundation for her exceptional advocacy skills. While earning her law degree from Birmingham School of Law in 2014, Leia honed her craft at Shunnarah Injury Lawyers - as a legal assistant for nine years and an attorney for seven. Now, she brings her wealth of experience to Wettermark Keith.
Leia's "Why": Above all, what drives Leia is the chance to make meaningful personal relationships with people who genuinely need her help. She approaches each person’s case as she would family, speaking to clients with the same warmth and attentiveness she'd offer to her closest friends and loved ones. This people-first philosophy is at the heart of her legal practice.

Just for Fun: Family, faith, and community are the pillars of Leia's life outside the courtroom. Known as the "school mom" at Heritage Christian Academy, she and her husband Andrew are actively involved in their three children’s education and the community at large. Whether it's heading up teacher appreciation week or decorating for school events, Leia is a familiar, hardworking presence. A devout member of Church of the Highlands - going on 12 years - she is deeply rooted in her faith. During free time, Leia and her family are fervent Auburn Tiger fans who love nothing more than watching football and hosting BBQs. And if you ever find yourself invited to a theme party at the Leonard home, prepare to have a great time! When it’s time for a break, Leia and her family enjoy a trip to Orange Beach or the blue ridge mountains of Boone, North Carolina.
