John Kendrick

Intro: John Kendrick joined the Wettermark Keith VA team in 2023 as a VA disability attorney. With a deep understanding of the complexities of the VA disability system, he strives to ease the notoriously difficult appeals process for his clients and empower them to obtain the results they deserve. John’s diverse legal background, outstanding work ethic, and passion for helping America’s veterans defines his practice.

Background: Born the vibrant city of Mobile, Alabama, John's roots have instilled in him a deep appreciation for community and a sense of home. After high school, John's academic journey led him to Spring Hill College, where he graduated in 2015 with a major in Political Science and a minor in English. He continued on to attend Samford University's Cumberland School of Law, earning multiple scholar of merit awards in various courses and a Juris Doctor in 2018. During his time at Cumberland, John showcased his exceptional legal writing skills as a writing editor for the Cumberland Law Review.

Prior to joining Wettermark Keith, John gained invaluable experience working with the city criminal court in Bessemer, Alabama. This role provided him with a great deal of experience in handling criminal misdemeanor matters and traffic citations. By witnessing firsthand how different segments of society are impacted by the legal system, John developed a greater understanding of the importance of justice for all, regardless of station.

John's “Why”: Driven by his genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of veterans, John finds immense satisfaction in helping those who served our country navigate a complex and confusing legal system. John recognizes that understanding the intricacies of the law can be overwhelming for many - and his passion lies in breaking down these barriers.

Just For Fun: When John’s not at the office, he’s probably on a run with his Chocolate Lab, Caesar. He enjoys listening to his vast collection of vinyl records - particularly the Blues.
