Introduction: Gina Modica joined Wettermark Keith in 2024, bringing a compassionate and strategic mindset to the personal injury department. With a heartfelt commitment to serving her community, Gina’s journey into law is rooted in her desire to empower individuals during their most challenging times. Her diverse background in both insurance defense and plaintiff's law equips her with a unique perspective, making her an invaluable advocate for her clients.

 

Background: Raised in the scenic Appalachian Mountains of Virginia, Gina's upbringing instilled in her a strong sense of community and resilience. She embarked on her academic journey at Virginia Tech’s Pamplin School of Business, earning a B.S. in Accounting and Information Systems. Impressively, she began taking college courses at just 15 years old, graduating high school with 64 college credits under her belt. After graduating high school,  Gina attended Virginia Tech’s Pamplin School of Business and later graduated with an Accounting and Information Systems B.S. Degree. She then continued her education at Liberty University School of Law, graduating in 2019.

Before joining Wettermark Keith, Gina amassed four years of experience in insurance defense litigation, as well as a plaintiff’s lawyer focusing on employment and family law disputes. This dual experience has given her a comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape, allowing her to effectively advocate for her clients with both skill and compassion.

 

Gina's “Why”: Gina’s passion for law was ignited by a deep-rooted desire to help individuals navigate life’s adversities. She believes that everyone deserves a fair chance at justice and strives to be a steadfast ally for her clients. Whether it's providing legal guidance or simply being a listening ear, Gina is dedicated to making a positive impact in her clients’ lives, ensuring they feel heard and supported throughout their legal journeys.

A pianist for over 23 years, she finds joy in music and participates actively in Knoxville’s local chess community. Her love for travel has taken her to 13 countries, including a memorable climb up the Great Wall of China. Gina also enjoys exploring local festivals and supporting small businesses, reflecting her commitment to fostering community connections.
