Biography
William Leech joined Wettermark Keith in 2023 as a litigation attorney in our Chattanooga personal injury department. With years of experience advocating for clients before circuit courts, the Tennessee Court of Appeals, and Tennessee Supreme Court, he has an innate talent for persuasion and a deep-rooted desire to help others. William’s unique approach to legal advocacy is shaped by his deep-seated passion for history, rhetoric, and legal theory. William channels this passion into his practice – his groundbreaking strategies and innovative solutions elevate his work and ensure the best outcomes for his clients.
Education
William is well traveled, having lived in Knoxville, Memphis, Nashville, Chattanooga, and even Colorado Springs, Colorado. Originally from Santa Fe, Tennessee, William began his academic journey at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. Here, he cultivated a profound love for history, graduating with a BA in the subject in 2008. Prior to joining Wettermark Keith, William studied rhetoric at UT’s English department, considering a career as a history professor. These experiences shaped him into a fiercely persuasive litigator and a staunch advocate for his clients. William was initially hesitant to follow in his father’s footsteps as an attorney. However, his persistent interest in law and deep desire to help others finally led him to apply to the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in Memphis, Tennessee, where he graduated with his Juris Doctor in 2011.
