Wettermark Keith Announces Partnership with UAB Best Buddies To Further Support Disability Community
BIRMINGHAM, Ala., March 21, 2023 – Wettermark Keith, a leading personal injury law firm committed to serving the community, is pleased to announce its partnership with UAB Best Buddies, a student organization dedicated to promoting inclusion and enhancing access for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The collaboration between Wettermark Keith and UAB Best Buddies stems from the firm’s longstanding commitment to helping those with disabilities and fostering meaningful connections within the community. Brian Smith, managing attorney of Wettermark Keith’s disability practice, initially connected with UAB Best Buddies during a UAB Disability Fall Fest event several months ago. There, he met Joshua Domingue, Program Coordinator at UAB in the Department of Health Behavior, School of Public Health, and recognized the invaluable work being done by the organization.
As part of this partnership, Wettermark Keith will proudly serve as a Gold Sponsor for the UAB Disability Fall Fest event taking place on April 13th, 2024, in Homewood, Ala. This event, organized by UAB Best Buddies, aims to create opportunities for friendships and foster a more inclusive community for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
