Austin Underwood joined Wettermark Keith in 2024, bringing a passionate and dedicated approach to the firm’s VA disability department. A native of North Alabama, Austin’s strong ties to the community and his personal connections to veterans have shaped his drive to ensure those who served our country receive the benefits they deserve. With a fresh perspective and deep empathy for his clients, Austin is committed to making the often-complex VA disability claims process more accessible and successful for veterans.
Education
Born and raised in Tuscumbia, Alabama, Austin developed a deep sense of community and a strong respect for service early on. He attended the University of North Alabama, where he graduated cum laude in 2020 with a degree in Professional Finance. After earning his undergraduate degree, Austin attended Mississippi College School of Law, graduating in May 2024. Throughout law school, Austin worked as a customer service specialist for Edward Jones and served as an on-call office administrator in his earlier years as an undergraduate. These experiences sharpened his communication skills and reinforced his desire to help people, particularly veterans, navigate challenging systems.
