Overview
Amber Osborne has been with Wettermark Keith since 2010 and currently serves as an Attorney and Veterans Disability Practice Manager. She is accredited by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to represent veterans in claims and appeals for service-connected disability benefits.
Amber leads the firm’s VA Disability practice, representing veterans nationwide in VA disability claims, appeals, and rating increases. She oversees every case from initial filing through Board of Veterans’ Appeals review, ensuring veterans receive the benefits they have earned through service.
Her journey into veterans advocacy began in 2014 when she handled the first VA Disability case in the firm’s history and secured a win. That success confirmed her commitment to serving veterans. Over the years, she expanded the firm’s Veterans Disability practice while continuing to support the Social Security Disability team. By early 2022, the VA practice had grown significantly, and Amber transitioned into leading it full time.
Amber earned her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in General Business from the University of Alabama. She attended Birmingham School of Law while working full time at the Social Security Administration, where she developed firsthand knowledge of disability claims and a deep passion for helping individuals navigate complex government systems.
She joined Wettermark Keith in August 2010 as a Social Security Disability case manager while completing law school in the evenings. After graduating in May 2012, she passed the Alabama Bar and was admitted to practice in September 2012.
Amber’s experience working inside the Social Security Administration, combined with her years of advocating for veterans before the Department of Veterans Affairs, gives her a powerful advantage. She understands how government agencies evaluate disability claims and uses that insight to build stronger cases for her clients.
She is proud to fight for veterans and remains dedicated to securing the VA disability benefits they deserve.
