Mark is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor of science in Criminal Justice in May 2013. He attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, receiving his juris doctor in December of 2015. While a student at Cumberland School of Law, he served as the treasurer for the Student Bar Association. He also was a member of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, where his work was published in Volume 38:3. Upon graduating law school, Mark worked at the law firm of Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys where he spent five years as a litigation attorney working on a variety of personal injury cases in courts throughout the State of Alabama. His practice primarily focused on motor vehicle crashes and premises liability claims. Mark is admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of Alabama, and in the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama. Mark is an active member of the Birmingham Bar Association, the Alabama Association for Justice and the American Association of Justice. He enjoys the great outdoors, cooking, and attending sporting events with his wife and two boys.
